Solutions/interventions being done in response to challenges and objectives
Working with the community and providing incentives to farmers/tree growers (~Php 6 per tree is given to the tree grower) for added incentive and additional income raises the interest of partner communities. Partnering with the private sector/donors is for a minimum of 3 years so that we ensure that trees grow to maturity and not just for tree planting/PR purposes. Following steps/components on tree growing from pre-implementation activities, seedling production, planting, and maintenance and monitoring.
